Holy Cross is a modern faith community drawn together in Christian love, fellowship, and support. The environment here is
rich with a living spirituality.
Diversity of all sorts is encouraged and respected. Tolerance, practiced in a Christian context, has
made us a vibrant family, extending our love for each other across generations, gender, race, sexual orientation, and physical or
mental ability.
All who seek the living Christ in the world today are invited to be our guest.
How do I become a member of Holy Cross?
You simply need to make your desires known! If Holy Cross is, where you desire to make
your spiritual home, the following “process” may be helpful mark your journey in affiliating with Holy Cross.
· A guest fills out a ‘Welcome to Our Guest’ pew card.
· A guest receives a note from
Mark, our senior priest, on the day of their visit.
· A guest receives a current copy
of the Messenger, our parish newsletter in the US Mail.
· A member of the Greeters
Team places a follow-up call to answer questions and get to know our guest better and help them connect to the ministries and programs
that they express interest in.
· A guest who desires to make Holy Cross their spiritual
home attends a ‘Let’s get better acquainted’ party.
Members of Holy Cross are:
· Included
in the leadership teams of various ministries of Holy Cross.
· Invited to make a commitment
of their “time, talent and treasure” through an annual pledge to the outreach, work and ministry of Holy Cross and Christ in the world.
Offering envelopes may be requested through the parish office.
· Are listed in the
parish directory and, if needed, are issued keys to the buildings they utilize to perform their ministries.
· Receive a C-Mail (Community Mail) folder which is found on the outside wall of the Church under the overhang. This is where members
may leave a note to another individual member or receive various mailings and news from the parish office.
